What Does Plug and Play Mean for Our Accommodation Units?
When we say our accommodation units are plug and play, what does that really entail? In essence, it means our units are fully finished and ready to go when they arrive at your location. Just connect to the necessary services, and you’re set.
We offer three seamless plug and play options to suit your needs:
Option 1: You Collect and Connect
With this option, you take care of the collection and delivery of the unit to your site, and place it on the footings you’ve prepared.
- Plumbing: All internal plumbing, pipes, and fixtures are included and tested at our factory to ensure they are ready for use. The mains water supply is connected to a single point. The waste water points are conveniently dropped through the floor, ready for your plumber to run pipes under the unit and group them all to a single connection point.
- Electrical: Internal wiring is done and tested, with lights and other fixtures turned on to ensure everything works perfectly. Your electrician will connect the unit to the mains power via the sub board.
- Interior: The unit is painted, cleaned, and fitted with blinds. Furnish it yourself or opt for our furniture package, which includes a washing machine/dryer combo, fridge/freezer, beds, tables, and chairs. Simply assemble and place them in designated spots. Add some essentials like linen, crockery, cutlery, and utensils, and you’re ready to move in.
Option 2: We Deliver, You Connect
Building on everything included in Option 1, this option adds professional delivery services to make your experience even smoother.
- Delivery: We handle all aspects of transportation, including arranging the truck, obtaining wide load permits, and managing both the loading at our factory and the unloading at your site. This includes all necessary insurances, ensuring the entire process is handled by professionals.
Option 3: Full-Service Delivery and Preparation
Building on everything included in Option 2, this complete done-for-you package adds more convenience and preparation.
- Preparation: We handle the foundation setup, which includes boring holes, pouring concrete, and setting up steel or masonry piers before delivery.
- Installation: Once delivered, the unit is placed on these prepared footings. Our team mechanically and professionally connects the unit to the piers, ensuring it is secure and stable in all weather conditions.
- Connections: You’ll still need to arrange for your own plumber and electrician to connect the unit to mains water, waste water, and power. We can provide recommendations on approved partners for these services.
- Furnishing: Opt for our furniture package, and our team will assemble it for you for an additional fee. Just add a few essentials, and your accommodation unit is ready for immediate occupation.
What Plug and Play Doesn’t Include
While our plug and play concept covers a lot, there are some aspects it doesn’t include. These units do not cover landscaping, the supply of water tanks, septic systems, off-grid power systems, power pits, or poles. Approvals are also not included.
You’ll need to manage these elements independently, ensuring your site is fully ready for the accommodation units.
